Family practice providers perform comprehensive care for women, including care of reproductive organs, breasts, and sexual function. We offer ongoing preventive care, including exams and routine tests for early detection of problems, and immunizations to prevent disease. We manage hormonal disorders, treatment of infections, pelvic organ or urinary tract problems. We also can perform advanced diagnostic procedures like colposcopy and endometrial biopsy, which aid in the evaluation of cancer as well as other gynecological problems. We help women with contraceptive choices, and can perform contraception procedures in the office, including IUD insertion and Implanon/Nexplanon implants. We offer mammography at our West St. Paul location, and dexascans (osteoporosis screening) at our Maplewood/Battle Creek and West St. Paul locations.
