Sports Medicine

As part of our “entire-care” philosophy, we treat and help prevent exercise, work or sports-related acute and overuse injuries as an aspect of our patients’ overall health, working together to ensure a return to fulfilling and healthier sporting activities and/or work.  Continuing to live an active lifestyle is as important to our patients as it is to us.

Prevention/Sports Physical

We approach sports physicals as thorough, periodic health evaluations, as well as risk-based screening examinations.  Sports physicals are generally for organized school sports and community sports, but they can also be used as a check-up before starting to exercise. The Minnesota State High School League (MSHSL) requires a physical evaluation before participation in sports at the high school level.
